Emily and Dylan, I am at a loss for words…. but I’ll try.

Every experience I’ve had with you two has been easy and a pleasure. You’ve been welcoming, trusting, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. Your wedding day flowed with ease and joy because you two let it happen, stayed present, enjoyed every moment for what it was. You made your wedding day exceptional.

When I think of you two as a couple, I can’t imagine you not being together. I know that when you met, you both instantly knew that something special was beginning, and I can absolutely see why. You light each other up, and it seems almost as if you have no other choice but to actively love each other.

As magical as your wedding day was, I know that your love will only grow deeper. I’m so happy to have been on this journey with you and your wonderfully warm friends and families, and I’m so excited to share this sneak peek from your wedding gallery. Enjoy!

Every once in a while, a couple comes along and absolutely steals a bit of my heart. Sarah and Matt are one of those couples.

Sarah and Matt, it makes total sense to me that you hit it off immediately on your first date and have been connected ever since. The way you two work together and understand each other blows me away. While your wedding was momentous, stunning, and had all the grandiosity of a once-in-a-lifetime event, it also didn’t seem like an ending or a beginning. It felt like another part of your journey together. Another step closer in the bond that began at your first date.

You know I am smitten with you two, and we’re now friends for life. :P I am beyond excited to share with you this sneak peek from your wedding day. Enjoy!

“No crying. It’s a happy day,” Megan reminded her parents while they were all getting ready in her childhood home.

While yes, it was a very happy day, even Megan broke her own rule before she made it out of the house. In fact, the happy tears flowed throughout the ceremony right on into the reception. Megan and Schuyler had a crowd of beautiful souls who couldn’t contain their joy and had to let it out through tears. But Megan, hopefully this next observation will make you feel a little better:

For all the happy tears, there was about 50 times more laughter.  The energy of this wedding was off the charts, and it was contagiously joyful.

Megan and Schuyler, your wedding was magical.  The two of you set a tone that allowed everyone to sit back, chill out, and just have the time of their lives.  It was a wedding where everyone was truly happy to be there and so totally in love with your love.  And I know your marriage will contain that same magic.  Thank you for inviting me to celebrate with you and your amazing families and friends.  I truly felt like a guest (who was allowed to be obsessively taking photos), and I was laughing along with everyone.  And I'll admit I even found myself shedding a few happy tears.  And it wasn't because that ice cream cake is one of the best things I've ever tasted... it's because the two of you are just so dreamy together.

So excited about your full gallery of photos!!  In the meantime, enjoy this peek into your wedding day.  :)

Surprise Wedding! - Allegria Hotel in Long Island - Stacie and Brian

One by one, their jaws dropped.

Stacie and Brian’s family and friends thought they were attending an engagement brunch. After a small cocktail hour, which the engaged couple attended in regular brunch-wear, the unsuspecting guests were led to a room where they thought they’d be enjoying a nice brunch. What they saw instead, an obvious ceremony room where Brian stood wearing a suit, caused shock, joy, excitement, and happiness.

Stacie and Brian, when I met you both a few years ago, I honestly thought you were already married. Your relationship had such ease, and you were so clearly each others’ rocks. The way you support each other is inspiring! Clearly you love to laugh together, and to say your surprise wedding was a joyful success is an understatement.  I was honored to be trusted with the secret and to be invited to capture this incredible day.

Enjoy the sneak peek of photos, complete with an epic post-ceremony portrait session on the beach!

The Loft by Bridgeview Wedding - Long Island - Sarah and Michael

The Loft By Brideview Wedding Long Island

This was the big moment. Sarah and Michael had gotten ready separately and were about to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. They were about to do… their second look.

Huh? Don’t I mean a first look? The thing is, Sarah and Michael did their first look a few months prior to the wedding. They knew they wanted some wedding photos with the sunset, with some landmarks around town, and of course with their dog Winnie!! They knew it would be logistically stressful to add all of that into the wedding day, so instead of a traditional engagement session, we used that time to get some wonderful wedding portraits. Sarah made it sound so simple when she said that Michael is her forever, he can see her in the dress before the wedding day.

The reason I bring this up is because it actually says so much about Sarah and Michael. They are a couple who, when faced with a seemingly impossible scenario, thinks outside the box. They had a list of certain things that were important to them, including pics with Winnie AND a stress-free wedding day, and they were able to be creative while keeping the experience fun and easy for everyone. And that’s, I think, the heart of it. Not only did they want the wedding to be stress-free for themselves, they wanted that for all of their friends and family.

Sarah and Michael, I have no doubt that this is something you apply to every area of your lives. It’s so clear to me that you’re a couple who is able to have so much richness with each other, while also being so generous to those around you. I love that you work as a team, with
